2010 Film Updates, Screenings & Events:
VIETNAM: THE SECRET AGENT
Look for new DVD release of Vietnam: The Secret Agent in Fall 2010. The DVD will include a power point time line of legislative, scientific and judicial actions which have taken place around the Agent Orange issue since the release of the film, as well as bonus material — new interviews, solving the problem of dioxin contamination, artists and Agent Orange, and more.
9/12: FROM CHAOS TO COMMUNITY
Home Video copies of the 9/12: From Chaos to Community DVD is featured on sale at the 9/11 Memorial Museum's Preview site at 20 Vesey Street at Church Street, New York City. Admission is free.
A WOMAN LIKE THAT
In her new film a woman like that, emmy-nominated filmmaker Ellen Weissbrod merges her own coming-of-middle-age story with her pursuit of the truth behind the myths of the 17th century woman artist Artemisia Gentileschi's dramatic work and provocative life. The film will premiere at the Berkshire International Film Festival on June 5th and 6th, 2010 in Great Barrington, MA.
KILLING KASZTNER
Gaylen Ross' Killing Kasztner: The Jew who Dealt with Nazis continues its long successful theatrical run following its premiere to rave reviews at the Toronto Film Festival. (Playing May 9th at Symphony Space in NYC) Find a theatre near you.
SOMETHING'S MOVING
The trailer for the film Something's Moving screens Sunday, April 25th at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington, Indiana as par of the Native Film Series, University of Indiana. Director Randy Vasquez is in post production on this feature.
