MANY HANDS: Journey of The Haitian Nurses Susanna Styron Eleventh Hour Films

In March 2010, two months after Haiti's devastating earthquake, a group of nurses from the Haitian American Nurses Association traveled to Haiti to bring medical supplies and offer treatment. Many of them had grown up in Haiti and moved to the New York area as young adults. For most, this was their first trip home in many years. "Many Hands" chronicles their experience of return, and reveals the dedication, tenacity, toughness, tenderness and humor of this extraordinary group of women.

The Migraine Project Susanna Styron and Jacki Ochs Eleventh Hour Films

Migraine is a condition characterized by episodes of crippling head pain and accompanying sensations ranging from hallucinations and blindness to nausea, numbness and stroke-like symptoms. It affects over 300 million people worldwide, yet remains misunderstood and under-researched. The Migraine Project is a feature documentary which, through interviews, archival footage, animation and first hand accounts, will illuminate the rich history and mystery of this disease and its interface with the exploding science of brain research.

Pandora's Promise will be a feature-length documentary about nuclear power and how mankind's most feared and controversial technological discovery may ultimately hold the key to its very survival. Built around in-depth interviews with the worlds' leading environmentalists, scientists and energy experts, as well as incredible archival footage and original filming across the globe, Pandora's Promise will inspire serious and realistic debate over possibly the most important issue of our time: how we continue to power modern civilization without destroying it.

a woman like that is a documentary film about choices, painting and how to make a life. Ellen Weissbrod merges her own coming-of-middle-age story with her pursuit of the truth behind the myths of 17th century woman artist Artemisia Gentileschi's dramatic work and provocative life. World Premiere: Berkshire International Film Festival, June 5th and 6th, 2010.

American Indian boarding schools were a primary tool of the federal government and church to assimilate Native Americans. At times using neglect, abuse and isolation, this policy sought to sever ties between parent and child and child and culture. The Thick Dark Fog explores the realities, contradictions and intergenerational effects of the boarding schools through the voices and stories of former students, and follows their attempts at educating and healing themselves, their families and communities from this little known aspect of American history.
