MY MOTHER'S HOUSE: Raising Children on Parole
Producers: Laure Sullivan and Paul Wilson

Imagine spending years behind bars in an upstate prison for a first time non-violent drug offense, sentenced under the draconian Rockefeller drug laws. Imagine raising your children from a prison visiting room. Then imagine upon release that you are given $40.00 in "gate money" and told you are on your own.

My Mother's House: Raising Children On Parole is a documentary film that follows the lives of six women as they are released from prison and try to rebuild their lives on the outside, reclaiming their roles as parents and picking up the pieces of their broken families.
